This photo is from the Spare Parts Division of a client that manufactures tractors. They wanted to implement reusable packaging for their heavy axles that were being exported to USA and Italy. Each axle weighs 250 kilograms. The packaging solution consists of three parts – the reusable metallic part, the dispensible protective packaging which in turn comprises of anti-rusting and paper based protective packaging and the lashing of these metallic frames in the container. Once the shipments reached, the metallic racks were collected, stored and when a full container load was ready, shipped back to the warehouse of the company for repair and painting and thereafter reinducted into the packaging pool. The metallic racks are being lashed by 19 mm cordstap as shown in the photos.
